Declaration of accessibility

This accessibility statement applies to the website financejavne.si, which is maintained by the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Public Administration.

The Faculty of Public Administration is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications to all users.

Compliance level

We assess that the financejavne.si website is accessible and partially compliant with the Website and Mobile Application Accessibility Act.

Regardless of certain deviations or exceptions, we also try to design all other content in a way that would be accessible to everyone to the greatest extent possible. However, we cannot fully guarantee this due to the exceptions listed under the Inaccessible Content section.

This accessibility statement applies to the entire website. We try to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as closely as possible when publishing content on the website.

Description of accessible content

  • The website has a clear and consistent structure and navigation. The HTML code of the website is reviewed and edited to meet the requirements of different devices. Links on the page are recognizable.
  • The contrasts on the website are appropriate. The website only exceptionally uses the display of text on images.
  • The website can be operated with the keyboard.
  • The website is optimized for readers.
  • The website has a site map.

Inaccessible content

We are constantly monitoring the accessibility of the website and continuously improving individual accessibility elements. However, some of the published content does not meet all accessibility requirements as set out in the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

  • Some elements do not have an optimal alternative description entered. Entering an alternative description retroactively would represent a disproportionate burden, since most of the posts refer to current events that have already passed and would not have a proportional useful value for the user. Newer elements have an alternative description entered.
  • Some multimedia content is not accessible (e.g. subtitles for video content are missing). For multimedia content recorded before 23.9.2020, editing is not mandatory. Some content is not edited due to disproportionate burden (Article 6 of the Website and Mobile Applications Accessibility Act (ZDSMA). The authority assesses the disproportionate burden as having significant financial consequences for the authority, as the volume of content is very large. In addition, most of the content is subject to change and it would be difficult to ensure that translations are up-to-date.
  • The structure of tables and headings is not always optimal. The reason lies in the disproportionate burden, which the authority assesses with the human and financial burden that would be required if optimized.
  • Some documents are not accessible. The reason lies in the disproportionate burden, which the authority assesses
